Regulations.

General

  1. These general terms and conditions apply to all agreements and commitments, unless otherwise expressly agreed upon in writing between parties, which are directly or indirectly related to the activities of Antwerp Amusement Center.
  2. If the customer also uses general terms and conditions, these shall not apply if and insofar as they in any way conflict with the general terms and conditions of Antwerp Amusement Center and/or impede or prevent the operation of Antwerp Amusement Center’s general terms and conditions.
  3. Opening hours are announced at the ticket counter. Antwerp Amusement Center reserves the right to change and/or close these times.

Activities

    1. E-Karting
      1. Antwerp Amusement Center is specifically not liable for damages resulting from one’s own driving behavior or the driving behavior of others on the kart track. The customer is aware of the risks of participating in karting and declares to be in sufficient physical condition for this.
      2. A maximum of 8 karts are allowed on the track at the same time.
      3. The duration of a heat on weekdays is 10 minutes, and on weekends 8 minutes.
      4. The kart track is accessible to everyone, but:
        • for youngsters under 12 years old only when accompanied by an adult
        • persons who are found or expected to disturb the peace or exhibit unsportsmanlike behavior may be removed from the kart track without stating reasons and denied access to the premises.
      5. Visitors are not allowed to:
        • enter the track or sit on the barriers
        • throw waste and other items onto the track
      6. Drivers are not allowed to:
        • enter the track without a helmet
        • endanger others
        • smoke or make fire on and/or around the track
        • drive on the track in the opposite direction
        • drive the karts recklessly or damage them
        • drive the karts under the influence of alcohol and/or any narcotic substance
        • leave the karts and abandon them on the track

Reservations

      1. All quotes and offers from Antwerp Amusement Center are entirely non-binding.
      2. If the given order is canceled in whole or in part, the client is obliged to reimburse Antwerp Amusement Center for all reasonably incurred costs for the execution of this order, as well as any other damages resulting from the said cancellation.
      3. It is mandatory to purchase at least one item of food or drink when participating in one of the activities listed below.
      4. Bringing and consuming your own food or drinks is not permitted.
      5. Every minor (under 18 years old) must be accompanied by an adult or have written permission from their parents or guardian.
      6. Opening hours are announced at the ticket counter/reception. Antwerp Amusement Center reserves the right to change these times and/or open earlier or close earlier.

Liability

      1. Antwerp Amusement Center is in no way liable for damages incurred by the customer or third parties in connection with delivered goods or services, unless the damage is caused by intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of Antwerp Amusement Center.
      2. Antwerp Amusement Center is specifically not liable for damages if such damage is (partly) caused by non-compliance with rules set or instructions given by Antwerp Amusement Center.
      3. Antwerp Amusement Center is not responsible for the loss of money and/or goods belonging to third parties, including customers. This also applies to goods handed over to Antwerp Amusement Center staff behind the bar.
      4. Complaints will only be handled by Antwerp Amusement Center if they are immediately reported to authorized personnel. Upon leaving the premises, this right to complain expires.

PAyment

    1. All prices used by Antwerp Amusement Center are in euros and include VAT, unless otherwise agreed upon by the parties. Payment must be made immediately afterwards in cash or by bank card, unless otherwise agreed, but in any case within 7 days of the invoice date.
    2. Prices are non-binding and can be adjusted at any time by Antwerp Amusement Center in accordance with and without prejudice to what is stipulated in Article 1.
    3. In the case of karting facility reservations, an amount to be determined by Antwerp Amusement Center may be required to be paid in advance. Payment of the remaining amount will take place on the agreed date at the premises, unless otherwise agreed to a bank account designated by Antwerp Amusement Center.
    4. Antwerp Amusement Center is at all times free to demand security for the fulfillment of the customer’s obligations before proceeding with the delivery of services.
    5. If the customer fails to meet any payment obligation as referred to above, Antwerp Amusement Center has the right to suspend all its obligations towards its customer.
    6. Regarding payment, the customer is not permitted to invoke any compensation or set-off against Antwerp Amusement Center.
    7. In case of non-payment, late payment, or improper fulfillment of any obligation resting on the customer, they shall be deemed to be in default by operation of law, and Antwerp Amusement Center has the right, without any notice of default, to charge the customer 1% interest per month on the outstanding amount from the due date, without prejudice to any further rights accruing to Antwerp Amusement Center, including the right to recover from the customer all costs incurred in collection, both judicial and extrajudicial collection costs, the latter for at least 10% of the amount claimed with a minimum of 500 euros.
